The film takes place in the near future, when an alien race attacks the Earth. Destroying everything in their path and taking millions of human lives, they were ready to conduct the last battle, which would forever destroy humanity. Realizing that this is the last chance to survive, people joined all their forces and threw them to fight the conquerors. Colonel Bill Cage, who has never been on the battlefield, also takes part in this battle. He dies in a matter of minutes of battle, but he manages to take with him the life of one of the aliens. After this, the impossible happens - he wakes up alive and notices that he again found himself in the very day in which the hellish battle awaits him. Each time, after another death, he is forced to engage in a deadly battle, becoming a more intelligent and dangerous opponent ...
