A group of American teenagers decided to spend their next summer fun and in a big way. To do this, the heroes of the film "Butchers" rent a bus and go on a trip across the country. While traveling through the desert, they stumble upon dilapidated buildings, which most recently were part of a local settlement. The heroes managed to find out that a terrible tragedy had happened here before - a crazy maniac dealt with most of the townspeople. Such a legend does not scare friends at all, and they decide to walk through the destroyed buildings. In one of them, the guys find an ancient book and decide to read a few lines in it. They could not even think that a plain-bound volume is a real relic - the Book of the Dead. The results of curiosity are not long in coming - from the ground there are those who are supposed to be forever in their graves. Awakening the dark forces, the heroes understand that the only chance to stay alive is to fight evil ...
