The plot of the film is based on real events and tells the story of Lizzy Borden, who was born in 1860 in Massachusetts, about which the whole world learned. At two years old, she lost her mother, after the death of which her father married another woman. For many years, the girl tried to establish relations with her stepmother, but she still could not do it. At one point, Lizzie learned that her father made a will, according to which all her property will be transferred to his new wife. One day, late in the evening, police discovered the bodies of Borden and his wife, who were brutally killed by an ax.
