The film explores the influence of music on people's minds and its ability to evoke memories. The director oversees the nursing home employee Dan Cohen. Once Dan decides to conduct an experiment and brings iPod with music from different eras to the hospital. To everyone’s surprise, many patients with Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders began to recall the forgotten events of their lives while listening to music from the past. Later, neuroscientists began to study Dan's discovery.
