Back in 1974, when he saw on ABV's Eurovision performance with the song “Waterloo”, the little Icelandic boy Lars firmly decided that someday he would definitely perform and win there. Many years later, Lars is no longer young, still lives with his father, but has not left his dream and performs songs of his own composition with his childhood friend Sigrit. Although their group Fire Saga performs at a local bar, the residents of the town do not want to listen to amateur performances and constantly demand a cabal hit “Jaja Ding Dong”. Once the elves heard the requests of Sigrit, and suddenly Fire Saga gets a chance to participate in Eurovision.
