An orthodox commune cut off from the civilized world suffers crop failures, disease and hunger. Year after year, residents conduct unique rituals in the glory of the Lord in the hope that the dark times will end, and Mother Earth will again be supportive of them. Only the house of Agatha Earnshaw on the outskirts of the village is illuminated by the grace of God: the land here is fertile, and the harvest would be enough for more than one family. Embittered neighbors decide that Agatha is a witch, and it was she who brought damage to their edge. But in an attempt to punish a woman, they will face a powerful force of unknown evil, so that the old life will seem like paradise.
