Max Lewinsky, a swift and fearless policeman, having received information from an informant, without weapons, immediately rushed for a gang of the most dangerous robber, the legend of the underworld - Jacob Sternwood. But the bandit, wounding the policeman in the leg, leaves. Three years later, Lewinsky has the opportunity to meet his sworn enemy again: Sternwood’s son is in the hospital with a gunshot wound. After some very dubious robbery, they seemed to be trying to remove it. Max is sure that the bandit will now reveal himself, trying to steal his son and deal with his offenders. Suddenly, Max is accused of killing his partner, with whom he was in love.
