Scott Voss is forty-two; he works as a biology teacher at a local school. One day he learns about an imminent reduction in the school budget, which will entail the closure of the music program taught by his friend Marty. In order to help a friend keep his job, he must bring 48 thousand dollars. But where to get such money to an ordinary teacher? From his student, Nico, Voss learns about the UFC, a mixed-combat organization. And most importantly, for participation in one match, the loser is paid 10 thousand dollars. Scott decides to take part in one fight, to lose quickly and take the money, because this amount is not enough for him. A few minutes before the battle, he was informed that the school accountant had taken the entire amount and disappeared in an unknown direction. Now Scott has no choice but to win this fight, because they give 50 thousand dollars for the victory ...
