The main character of the movie "Silent" is a happy father who takes care of his child. He sincerely loves his daughter and wants to give her the best life. But one day she falls prey to an unknown intruder. The criminal kidnaps the girl and escapes responsibility. The police, not finding any traces of the kidnapped, send the case to the archive. This brings the central character into a state of complete despair.
Depressed, his grief-stricken father decides to run away from the bustle of the city. He gets a job in the reserve and settles there forever, having no desire to return to civilization.
Once on the territory where the main character of the film "Silent" works, the corpse of a young girl appears. Several more bodies are soon discovered. The local sheriff takes over. He immediately makes the assumption that the killer is the same person. Meanwhile, the hero becomes a casual witness of the criminal's attempts to attack a young girl who looks like his kidnapped daughter. He joins forces with the sheriff to try and find the killer. But the attacker is several steps ahead of them.
